Mallika cemented her reputation as a Bollywood sexpot in 2004 with the release of Murder, which cast the actress as a married woman who embarks upon an illicit affair that leads to disastrous consequences. The film, essentially a remake of the 2002 Richard Gere and Diane Lane film Unfaithful, proved that Mallika had no qualms about showing plenty of skin on the big screen.
