The Emami-Madhuri line is likely to include a range of 100 per cent natural personal care products such as creams, lotions, soaps, powders, etc. Some healthcare products were also being considered. Initially being launched in Kolkata a nationwide rollout would follow soon.

Madhuri will also serve as the label’s brand ambassador in India and abroad and will, in particular, take responsibility for promoting a range of Emami products overseas, beginning with the United States. It’s the first time that Madhuri has lent her name to a range of cosmetics. This is the first time in the country that a range of such products has been named after a screen icon.
