The sex bomb of Indian cinema, the voluptuous beauty known for her daring attitude,  Mallika Sherawat is definitely woman with a difference.  Mallika has surpassed the traditional image of Bollywood queens and has set a new trend in the Hindi film industry. She has always been in news because of her skin show and bold statements. Originally known as Reema Lamba, Mallika was born on 24th October 1981 in the small town of Rohtak in Haryana, India.

Despite of being born in a very conservative and orthodox family, since childhood Mallika dreamt of making it to the glamour world. She did her graduation in Philosophy from Miranda House, the well-known college of Delhi University. It is said that  Mallika Sherawat brought her first pair of jeans when she entered the college. After studies, against the wishes of her parents, Mallika left for Mumbai to find her place under the sun.  Mallika Sherawat was so desperate to make it to the showbiz that she did not only ignore what her father wanted her to do but also stepped out of her marriage with Jet Airways pilot, Captain Karan Singh Gill. She had tied nuptial bond with Karan right after her graduation and was also working as a part time airhostess.
